Are there different bins for different types of waste?

Yes. The Store House provides separate bins for general waste and mixed dry recycling, making it easy for residents to dispose of their waste responsibly.

What goes in each bin?

General waste

Use the general waste bins for items that can't be recycled through the mixed dry recycling service.

Mixed dry recycling

Use the mixed dry recycling bins for recyclable household items that are accepted through the building's recycling service.

If you're unsure which bin to use, check the signage in the bin store or ask the Resident Team for guidance.

Why is recycling important?

Separating your waste correctly helps reduce the amount of rubbish going to landfill and supports more responsible waste management across The Store House.

Helpful tip

Take a moment to check the bin labels before disposing of your rubbish. Putting items in the correct bin helps keep the recycling process working effectively.
