Are there restrictions on disposing of certain items?

Yes. Some items must not be placed in the general waste or recycling bins at The Store House. These items require alternative disposal arrangements to ensure they're dealt with safely and appropriately.

Which items can't go in the standard bins?

Restricted items include:

• Batteries
• Electrical equipment and electronics
• Vape devices
• Furniture
• Bulky waste
• Other items that aren't suitable for the building's standard waste facilities

These items shouldn't be left beside the bins or in communal areas either.

What should I do with restricted items?

If you have an item that can't be disposed of through the standard waste facilities, speak to the Resident Team before disposing of it.

The team can advise you on the appropriate disposal arrangements for the item.

For batteries, vape devices, electronics and other battery-powered items, you can also bring them to reception so the team can direct you to the correct disposal option.
