Is the building quiet during exams?

We understand that exam and assessment periods can be an important and stressful time, so we encourage all residents to be especially considerate of others who may be studying.

The Store House is a shared residential environment, so we can't guarantee complete silence throughout the building. However, residents are expected to be respectful of their neighbours and mindful of noise levels, particularly during busy study periods.

Where can I study during exam periods?

Our dedicated study spaces provide a quieter environment where you can focus on your work away from the distractions of your apartment.

You can also make use of the building's co-working areas, depending on your preferred study environment.

What should I do if I'm being disturbed?

If excessive noise is affecting your ability to study or sleep, try speaking to the person responsible if you're comfortable doing so. If the issue continues or you're unsure how to deal with it, contact the Resident Team for support.

Helpful tip

During exam periods, be mindful of noise when using communal areas and in your apartment. A little consideration can make a big difference to someone who's trying to concentrate.
