Can I recycle?
Yes. Recycling facilities are provided at The Store House, and we encourage all residents to separate their waste responsibly and make use of the recycling facilities available.
Recycling correctly helps reduce unnecessary waste and supports the building's waste management and sustainability initiatives.
How do I recycle?
Take your household waste to the basement-level bin store and separate recyclable items from general waste.
The Store House provides mixed dry recycling bins for items such as:
- Cardboard
- Paper
- Plastic containers and bottles
- Aluminium cans
Where possible, recyclable items should be empty and clean before being placed in the recycling bins.
What shouldn't go in the recycling bins?
Some items aren't suitable for standard recycling and require alternative disposal arrangements. This includes batteries, vape devices, electronics and other battery-powered items.
These items should never be placed in the general waste or recycling bins. Bring them to reception, where the team can advise you on the correct disposal option.
Helpful tip
If you're unsure whether something can be recycled, check the signage in the bin store or ask the Resident Team before disposing of it.
