Can I leave belongings behind?

No. All personal belongings must be removed from your apartment before your tenancy ends.

Please check cupboards, wardrobes, under-bed storage and any other areas carefully before you leave. You should also remove all rubbish and recycling and leave your apartment clean and tidy.

What happens if I leave something behind?

Any belongings left behind may need to be removed or disposed of in accordance with the move-out procedures. This may also result in charges where applicable under the terms of your tenancy agreement.

If you have large or unwanted items that you don't know how to dispose of, speak to the Resident Team before moving out. They can advise you on the appropriate disposal options.

Helpful tip

Start clearing your belongings a few weeks before your tenancy ends, particularly if you need to arrange storage, shipping or bulky waste collection.
