What condition should my room be in?

Your apartment should be left in the same condition it was in when you moved in, allowing for normal fair wear and tear.

Before you leave, please make sure you:

  • Remove all personal belongings.
  • Empty cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas.
  • Remove all rubbish and recycling.
  • Clean surfaces and leave the apartment tidy.
  • Check that you've collected everything before handing back your key card.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damage to the Resident Team before you leave.

Your apartment may be checked after you move out to ensure it has been left in the required condition.

Helpful tip

Give yourself plenty of time to clean and clear your apartment before your tenancy end date. Leaving things until the last minute can make moving out more stressful.
