Will I still need to pay rent if I move out early?

Yes — moving out early does not automatically end your responsibility to pay rent under your tenancy agreement.

How it works

• Without a break clause: You’ll remain liable for rent until the tenancy officially ends, even if you hand back your keys before that date.
• By agreement: If you need to leave early, you can sometimes negotiate with Enclave: Student. This may involve paying rent until a replacement tenant is found or covering an agreed early termination fee.
