Can I set up a direct debit or standing order?

Yes — you can set up a direct debit or standing order to make paying your rent at Enclave simple and stress-free. Both options mean you won’t have to manually transfer money each month, reducing the risk of missing a payment.

Direct debit

  • Enclave automatically collects your rent from your bank on the due date.

  • You’ll need to complete and sign a direct debit mandate form to authorise this.

  • Once set up, payments are taken automatically without further action from you.

Standing order

  • You instruct your bank to send the rent amount to Enclave each month.

  • You remain in control, so you’ll need to update the standing order if your rent changes.

  • It’s your responsibility to set the correct date (usually the tenancy start date each month).

Which to choose?

  • Direct debit: Easier if you want Enclave to manage collection.

  • Standing order: More control for you, but you must ensure the amount and date stay correct.

Helpful tip

Whichever option you choose, make sure the setup is completed before your first rent due date. This ensures payments are seamless from the start of your tenancy.
