How are repairs prioritised?

At Enclave, repairs are prioritised based on how urgently they affect your safety, comfort, and ability to live in your home. This ensures that the most serious issues are dealt with first.

Priority levels

  1. Emergency repairs

    • Immediate threats to safety or property.

    • Examples: flooding, fire damage, gas leaks, or total loss of power or heating.

    • Response: Attended to within hours to make safe.

  2. Urgent repairs

    • Problems that disrupt daily life but aren’t life-threatening.

    • Examples: faulty locks, partial heating failure, or blocked drains.

    • Response: Usually within a few days.

  3. Routine repairs

    • Minor issues that don’t prevent you from using your home.

    • Examples: dripping taps, loose fittings, or cosmetic damage.

    • Response: Typically scheduled within a few weeks.

Helpful tip

When reporting a repair, always explain how it impacts your day-to-day living. This helps the team prioritise correctly and ensures emergencies are dealt with quickly.
