What deductions might be made from my deposit?
Deposit deductions at Enclave are only made when necessary and will always be explained to you.
Common reasons for deductions
- Cleaning: If the property isn’t left in a clean condition and requires professional cleaning.
- Damage: Repairs for damage beyond normal wear and tear, such as broken fixtures, stains, or holes in walls.
- Missing items: If furnishings or appliances provided at the start of the tenancy are missing or damaged.
- Unreturned keys or fobs: Replacement costs for any not returned.
- Unpaid charges: Outstanding rent, utility bills, or other tenancy-related costs.
What won’t be deducted

Normal wear and tear (like minor scuffs or light carpet wear) is not charged to you.

To minimise deductions, clean thoroughly before moving out, repair minor damage where possible, and make sure all items and keys are returned.
