What happens after I submit my application?
Once you’ve submitted your application for an Enclave building, the team will guide you through the final steps to secure your new home. Here’s what you can expect:
Step 1: Application review and referencing
Your details will be checked, and standard referencing will be carried out. This usually involves confirming your ID, income, employment, and rental history. If anything further is required — such as a guarantor or upfront rent — the team will let you know quickly.
Step 2: Property held for you
Because you’ve paid a holding fee, the property is held for you. This means no one else can reserve it while your application is being processed.
Step 3: Tenancy agreement
Once your references are approved, you’ll be sent a tenancy agreement to sign. This document sets out the terms of your tenancy, including rent, duration, and key responsibilities.
Step 4: Final payments
Before moving in, you’ll need to pay:
-
Your first month’s rent (minus the holding fee you’ve already paid).
The team will provide a clear breakdown of these costs and due dates.
Step 5: Move-in confirmation
After the agreement is signed and payments are made, your move-in date will be confirmed. On the day, the Enclave team will welcome you, hand over your keys, and ensure you’re settled into your new home and familiar with the building amenities.
