What happens if I owe money when I move out?
If you owe money when moving out of your Enclave home, the outstanding balance will need to be settled before your deposit can be returned in full.
How it works
- Final charges: Any unpaid rent, utility bills, or other tenancy-related costs will be reviewed after your move-out.
- Deposit offset: If you have a deposit, Enclave may deduct the owed amount from it before returning the balance to you.
- Further payment: If your debt is larger than the deposit, you’ll need to pay the remaining balance directly.

Always confirm with your resident team that your rent and other charges are fully up to date before moving out. This helps avoid delays with your deposit return.
