What happens if shared spaces are damaged?
If shared spaces at Enclave — such as lounges, gyms, or co-working areas — are damaged, the response depends on how the damage occurred and who is responsible.
If caused accidentally by a resident or guest
-
Responsibility: The resident who caused the damage (or their guest) may be held liable.
-
Charges: Costs for repair or replacement can be charged to the responsible resident.
-
Reporting: It’s always best to report the damage immediately so it can be fixed quickly and fairly.
If caused by normal wear and tear
-
No charge: The building management is responsible for maintaining shared spaces and will arrange repairs.
-
Planned maintenance: Sometimes areas may be temporarily closed while work is carried out.
If caused deliberately or through misuse
-
Investigation: The on-site team will investigate the incident.
-
Consequences: Repeated or deliberate damage may lead to tenancy action in addition to repair charges.
