Are smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors provided?

Yes — all Enclave apartments are fitted with smoke alarms. These devices are essential for your safety and form part of the property’s compliance with UK regulations.

Smoke alarms

• Installed in key areas of your apartment, such as hallways and living spaces.

• Checked before your tenancy starts to ensure they are working.

• Some developments also include alarms linked to the building’s fire safety system.

Carbon monoxide detectors

• Enclave does not use gas appliances in apartments.  

Your responsibilities

• Test alarms regularly using the button provided (usually once a month).

• Replace batteries if required (for battery-operated models).

• Report any faults to the on-site team immediately so replacements or repairs can be arranged.

Helpful tip

Never remove or disable your alarms, even temporarily. They’re vital for your safety and form part of your tenancy obligations.
