How do I properly enter and exit the building?

At Enclave, safe entry and exit help maintain building security for everyone.

Entering the building

• Use your key, fob, or smart access: Hold your fob or phone to the reader, or unlock with your key.

• Wait for the door to close: Don’t rush through — let the door shut securely behind you.

• No tailgating: Never let unknown people follow you in without checking they’re residents or authorised visitors.

Exiting the building

• Exit as normal: Use your fob, access card, or push-button release where required.

• Check doors close fully: Make sure doors aren’t left ajar, especially in secure areas like bike stores or car parks.

Helpful tip

Always be mindful of who’s entering or leaving alongside you. A quick glance back to check the door has shut properly helps keep the whole building secure.
