How much notice will I be given before an inspection?
You’ll always be given advance notice before an Enclave inspection. This ensures you have time to prepare and are aware of when the team will visit your home.
Standard notice period
-
At least 24 hours’ notice is required by UK law for non-emergency access to a rented property.
-
In practice, Enclave usually gives several days’ notice, often by email or through the resident portal, so you have plenty of time to get ready.
How you’ll be notified
-
You’ll typically receive notice in writing (email or portal message).
-
The notification will include the date, time, and purpose of the inspection.
Helpful tip
If the proposed time doesn’t work for you, contact the team as soon as possible. They can often reschedule to a more convenient time.
