What happens if I lose a key before moving out?
If you lose a key, fob, or access card before moving out of your Enclave home, you’ll need to let the resident team know straight away.
What to expect
- Replacement: A new key or fob will be arranged so you can continue to access your home safely.
- Charge: There is usually a replacement fee, which will either be billed to you directly or deducted from your deposit at the end of your tenancy.
- Security: In some cases, locks or access permissions may be updated to ensure building security.
Helpful tip
Report the loss immediately — this allows the team to secure the property if needed and ensures you don’t face delays or extra charges at move-out.
