What should I do if my key or fob stops working?

If your Enclave key, fob, or access card stops working, don’t worry — the issue can usually be fixed quickly.

Steps to take

Check the basics:

  • Make sure you’re using the right fob or card for the right door.

  • If it’s a fob, check if the light flashes when you tap it on the reader.


Report the issue straight away

  • The team can check whether the fob needs reprogramming, the battery replacing (if applicable), or if the building’s access system needs attention.

  • They can also give you temporary access or issue a replacement key (fees may apply).
