What should I do if the entrance or exit doors are not working?

If the entrance or exit doors at your Enclave building aren’t working properly, it’s important to report it immediately to keep the building secure.

Steps to take

  1. Check your access: Try your key, fob, or smart access again — sometimes a quick reset or swipe works.

  2. Look for an alternative: Use another entrance or exit if available, while keeping security in mind.

  3. Report the fault: Contact the on-site team straight away through the resident portal, phone, or in person.

  4. Out of hours: If it’s an emergency (for example, if a door won’t lock), call the out-of-hours emergency number in your welcome pack.

Helpful tip

Never leave doors propped open if they’re faulty — this compromises building security. Wait for assistance or use another secure access point instead.
