Will I be given notice before someone enters my home?

Yes — you will always be given notice prior to anyone entering your apartment. Enclave will always aim to give you at least 24 hours’ notice before anyone enters your apartment, however in an emergency situation this may be less. 

Standard practice

• Routine repairs and inspections: You’ll receive advance notice by email,.

• Agreed appointments: For most repairs, a specific date and time will be arranged with you.

• Your consent: Access is usually only given if you’ve agreed or confirmed you’re happy for the team to enter.

Exceptions

• Emergencies: If there’s an urgent risk to safety or property (e.g. major water leak, fire, or gas leak), the team may not be able to give you notice. 

Helpful tip

If you can’t be at home for a scheduled visit, you can often give permission for the team or contractor to use management keys. This ensures repairs can go ahead without delay.
