Will I be given notice before someone enters my home?
Yes — except in emergencies, Enclave will always give you at least 24 hours’ notice before anyone enters your apartment.
Standard practice
-
Routine repairs and inspections: You’ll receive advance notice by email, portal message, or phone.
-
Agreed appointments: For most repairs, a specific date and time will be arranged with you.
-
Your consent: Access is usually only given if you’ve agreed or confirmed you’re happy for the team to enter.
Exceptions
-
Emergencies: If there’s an urgent risk to safety or property (e.g. major water leak, fire, or gas leak), the team may need to enter immediately without notice.
Helpful tip
If you can’t be at home for a scheduled visit, you can often give permission for the team or contractor to use management keys. This ensures repairs can go ahead without delay.
