Do I need contents insurance?

While contents insurance isn’t mandatory at Enclave, it’s strongly recommended to protect your belongings.

Why it’s important

• Peace of mind: Contents insurance covers your personal items — such as laptops, phones, clothes, and furniture — against risks like theft, fire, or accidental damage.
• Enclave’s responsibility: The building itself is insured by Enclave, but this does not extend to residents’ possessions.
• Unexpected events: Even in a secure environment, accidents and incidents can happen. Insurance helps minimise financial loss.

Helpful tip

Look for a policy that also includes tenant liability cover, which can help protect you if something in your home is accidentally damaged.
