What happens if I damage something in my home?

If you accidentally damage something in your Enclave apartment, you’ll need to log a service request on the residents app. Damage outside normal wear and tear might incur an additional charge. 

How it’s handled

• Minor damage: Small issues, like a scuff on a wall or a broken handle, can often be repaired quickly.

• Larger damage: More significant repairs may involve costs, which could be charged to you if the damage goes beyond normal wear and tear.

• Additional costs: Depending on the damage, you may be charged additional costs to fix it. 

Why reporting matters

• Prompt reporting allows the team to arrange repairs and prevent further issues.

• Being upfront can help you avoid larger charges later.

• The team can advise whether you’ll be charged or if it’s something covered under normal maintenance.

Helpful tip

Normal wear and tear — like light marks on walls or natural ageing of fixtures — won’t be charged. Charges apply only for damage that’s avoidable or caused by misuse.
