What should I do if I receive mail for a previous resident?
If you get post addressed to someone who no longer lives in your Enclave apartment, don’t worry — it’s a common issue when residents move.
What to do
-
Do not open it: It’s illegal to open mail not addressed to you.
-
Mark as “Return to Sender”: Cross out your address, write “Return to Sender – No Longer at This Address,” and place it back in a postbox.
-
Hand to the team: Alternatively, give the letter to the on-site team, who can return it appropriately.
Helpful tip
If you receive repeated mail for the same person, let the on-site team know. They may be able to contact the sender or update records to reduce future misdelivered post.
