What should I do if there’s a fire in the building?
Your safety is the top priority at Enclave. Each building follows a stay-put policy, unless the fire is inside your apartment or you are in a communal area.
What to do
- If the fire is not in your home: Stay inside your apartment with the door closed, as it is designed to resist fire and smoke.
- If the fire is in your home or you are in a communal area: Leave immediately using the nearest safe exit and go to the designated assembly point.
- Call 999: Once safe, contact the emergency services to report the fire.
- Follow instructions: Always listen to directions from fire wardens, building staff, or emergency personnel.
Helpful tip
If you’re unsure of your building’s fire procedure or the location of your assembly point, ask the resident team so you’re prepared in advance.
